Grades 9 through 12
High School Youth

Enhance your spiritual life with weekly topical Bible studies and group activities. The group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Youth Room. Monthly social and service events are planned by the teens. Exciting retreat opportunities, week-long adventure trips, fundraising, ELCA Youth Gatherings, and overnight outings are all part of growing in Christian Community! Guests are welcome and costs vary depending on the event.

Bible Camps

Two Bible camps are offered each year... a summer camping opportunity in July at the beach, and one winter camping opportunity in January at El Camino Pines, in Frazier Park.

Celebration Ringers

This handbell choir is for youth grade 9 through adults. The choir practices once per week under the direction of the Handbell Choir Director and plays at a worship service several times throughout the year. Practice is on Thursdays from 6:15pm-7:00pm.

Sunday School

Offered for all high school youth twice per month during the 10:00 service. Students attend the beginning of the service and are dimissed to class after Kids' Talk.

Vacation Bible School

Held Monday through Friday for one week during the summer from 9:00-3:00. High school students come together to lead or help in different areas of VBS.

Youth Gatherings

Students in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to attend the Western States Youth Gathering and the National Youth Gathering, held every three years. The next National Youth Gathering will be held in New Orleans in the summer of 2012.
