Pastor James Pike

Pastor
Ordained in 2005, Pastor Pike has served churches in southern California his entire ministry.  He is also a board member of Waymakers  and teaches at HBHS's Academy for the Performing Arts.

Pastor Hongsun Kim

Pastor
Born in Korea and raised in Japan, Pastor Kim entered ministry after many years as a social worker.   He is also a regular columnist for Nikkan San, a Japanese language paper in Southern California.  

Michelle Palmer

Youth and Family Minister
Michelle has spent her entire adult life working with kids in various capacities. From churches to schools, from camps to co-ops, she is passionate about sparking love and imagination in the next generation.

Susan Skowron

Office Administrator
Originally from Illinois, Susan raised her family in Huntington Beach and is a long-time Resurrection member.  Keep an eye out for Susan and her dog Rio!

Cassie Marquez

Preschool Director
Starting as a teacher, Cassie has been the director of Resurrection Lutheran Preschool (RLP) for six years .  Five days a week, she and her staff provide a safe and loving environment for kids 2.5-5 years old.

Fumi Liang

Cultural Ministry Coordinator
Originally from Taiwan and raised in Japan,  Fumi has been a leader of our Japanese language community for decades. She also has a passion for bringing together people from different Asian backgrounds.

Amy Switzer

 Praise Team Director
Amy and her team are responsible for the Praise and Worship at Resurrection.  An accomplished pianist and singer, Amy has been at Resurrection for over a decade.

Nick Ross

Technical Director
Nick oversees the technical aspects of audio and video, especially for worship. Nick and his team can usually be found in the Resurrection balcony.
